Broadcaster Applications

 

Filming Eligibility

The following applicants must download and complete the below forms:

  • Broadcasters  
  • Publication Houses

Timeframe

Permit applications must be submitted a minimum of five (3) business days prior to the first filming day. The UAE working week is Sunday through Thursday. Weekends and public holidays are not business days.

 

Required Documents

In order to apply for a shooting permit, you must have a valid UAE production trade license. Any individuals, companies or entities that do not have a valid UAE production trade license can either apply to obtain a license or partner with a UAE-licensed production company to obtain a filming permit.

You must submit the following documents and fees along with your completed permit application:

  • Valid UAE Production Trade License
  • Valid Passport and Visa Copies of Primary Crew Members - Director, Producer, Director of Photography, Location Manager (please note that some locations may require information on additional crew)
  • No Objection Certificate issued by the Client in favor of the Production Company
  • Script, Storyboard or Synopsis (if applicable)
  • Certain locations may require you to submit additional information forms, for further information please contact the Dubai Film and TV Commission on info@filmdubai.gov.ae 
  • Non-refundable AED 500 Processing Fee
  • Applicable Payment for Location Fee
